Experience the High Precision Spectroscopy lab in 360°

Follow Derya Taray, PhD student in the Laser Spectroscopy & Quantum Physics group of Nobel Prize winner Theodor Hänsch, through this virtual tour of the High Precision Spectroscopy lab at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (MPQ). Here, the group performs precision spectroscopy on atomic hydrogen using the optical frequency comb technique, which was awarded a Nobel Prize in 2005.

The video shows the set-up of the experiment and the laboratory environment in a 360° view, which makes for a much more imersive lab visit, albeit a virtual one.
