Call for Applications: PhD Positions at IMPRS-QST and Munich Quantum Valley

We would like to draw your attention to the Call for PhD positions for both the International Max Planck Research School for Quantum Science and Technology and the Munich Quantum Valley Doctoral Fellowship Program (IMPRS-QST and MQV).

Fields or research covered by IMPRS-QST and MQV include atomic physics and quantum optics, solid-state physics and material science, quantum information theory, and quantum many-body systems. Interested students may apply to one or both programs.


IMPRS for Quantum Science & Technology

The IMPRS-QST, based in Munich, is a joint program of the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the Technical University of Munich. It offers an excellent and coherent graduate program wit basic and advanced courses, soft skills training, industry contact, and an international and interdisciplinary environment in strong exchange with partner programs. Munich Quantum Valley

The Munich Quantum Valley Initiative aims to establish Quantum Computation and Quantum Technologies in Bavaria, Germany. The MQV doctoral fellows selected through the open call may freely choose to join any research group involved in research on Quantum Science and Technology at any Bavarian university.
